Compiler for c++ needed with ide.

Hi all,i'm new to programming but been very interested in it for a bunch of years.I'm looking for a downloadible compiler for c++ that uses ide and not only command prompt.Got a couple of books like c++,A beginners guide by Herbert Schildt,c# by John Sharp etc.Any help,please.

google thefreecountry for a list of freeware compilers available for different OSes. evidently, this site forbids direct links in posts.
