Job Description:

Our client seeks a Senior Application Developer for its Chicago office. Responsible for developing full-lifecycle applications for a wide variety of financial applications. Position will work closely with QA and production in the design, development, and execution of applications. Candidate will also work independently, with individual responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of applications. Candidate will also work in an environment of change and growth, with exposure and knowledge of cutting-edge technology required. Must be able to apply advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis. Position must adhere to existing design/development/qa methodologies and analyze requirements, while also architecting new software systems. Position provides technical leadership to other development team members. Requires the ability to work positively and communicate effectively with both internal and external clients, as strong relationships are an important element of success.

Qualifications:

- B.S. or M.S. Degree in C.S.
- 5+ years development experience in C++
- 2+ years development experience in .NET a plus
- 3+ years experience in e-commerce applications a plus

Relevant work experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Visual C++, .NET, OOP, ADO , T-SQL, MSMQ Windows n-tier application design and development required. JAVA experience a plus and experience in structured QA practices also a plus. Proven ability to work in a small-team, multi-priority environment desired.
